i found the rooms beautiful and spacious (i stayed in a classic double room). the food in the restaurant was excellent, especially dinner. all staff were friendly and very helpful.
My only concern was the towel rail in the bathroom. It wasn't working. this made the bathroom cold, and there was no other heating. the manager addressed this by providing an oil-filled radiator.

the rooms are large i stayed in a superior double room and the bed was so comfy. the breakfast was also excellent i particularly loved the croissants! the location is superb i found it very quiet,.
the staff seemed uninterested in assisting guests it was like customer service was lacking. the service was really slow and nobody seemed bothered to answer the phone. i found a member of staff picking up cutlery by the business end, it's a basic

the room offered a power shower that i found lovely and relaxing breakfast was served in a nice atmosphere the staff were friendly and accommodating. i appreciated the little touches in the room the breakfast had wide range of menu options i was able to enjoy walks on the south downs.
i noticed some water stains on the walls and could hear the neighbors tv at night

the room had all i needed. the bed was very comfortable, and they provides really nice toiletries. the breakfast the following morning was really good, and the staffs were pleasant. i would stay here again if i return.
i noticed food and pet hair all over the rug. the table was not clean and a dog roamed freely. i moved to the other side for my drinks.
